Garrett is 5 now and Morgan is 3. Garrett starts K in August. He is so excited.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all Mother's today.
Today was the best mother's day ever.
I was baptized today.
I am so excited to finally be baptized. I feel so at peace right now.
My daughter had her dance recital today and she did so good.
She was the best one out there. Seriously.

My mother came down to see my baptism and to watch Morgan's receital.
Morgan couldn't have been happier.
She is going for a visit to Na Na's house this week. She is very excited to go somewhere without her brother. Garrett and I will be going to see Spider man 3 tomorrow and Sea World on Tuesday and to the Natural Caverns on Wed. and maybe the zoo Thursday or back to Sea World...?? Who knows...

New and Old Pictures

Look at my babies and how much they have grown. I'm so happy to be their mother. I don't want them to grow up any more. They are just growing up too fast.
My son as you can see, loves to play pool with Pop Pop (that is my dad) and he loves his sister very much.

They fight from time to time...but he does not like it when someone else picks on his sister. He gets upset. ;) Too cute.
Morgan, is just so proud of her big brother and wants to do everything he does. She will always be my baby girl.

Elementary School

Well...It's final. Garrett is going to Public School Kindergarten. Yep...I registered him today. It was early registration. I'm not sure what I feel at the moment. It's still not real yet. He has all summer. But, he starts August 27, 2007. WOW...I can't believe it. Also, I registered Morgan for a new school too. It is right down the street from me and she is so excited. She cried when we left the tour today. She was so mad at me...she wanted to stay and play with her friends.
Well...that is pretty much it. My baby boy is going to school. Also, this Kindergarten is all day. 7:45 to 2:30. I seem to remember that my Kinder class was only 1/2 day. You had a choice of morning or afternoon. Things sure have changed since I was in Kindergarten. Man....I actually remember my first class too. It was pretty cool. There were tons of stations. There was a homemaking station....tool station...arts and crafts, math, reading...my favorite was the math station. ??? What was I thinking? But...a few things I remember was the room was so dang dark. There were no windows and no lights. ?? It was the weirdest thing. Everyday, you would get a star if you didn't get in trouble...well...forget that. I got one star one time through the entire year. I remember as a small child looking at my chart on the wall and feeling like the biggest looser because I only had one star. My teacher told my mom I talk to much. Imagine that...a 5 year old talking to much. hmmm....well....nothing really changed for me in school. I got in trouble for talking my entire school life. It was rather humerous. Teachers learned to deal with it...because well...after 5 detentions they had given up. :)
I remember my French teach in highschool...moved me all over the room...and finally moved me by her...well...I just talked to her. She finally moved me out into the hall...and well...I just talked to people going down the hall. So...she finally gave up too.
Well...I hope Garrett isn't like his momma. But, I'm afraid he is a little bit. Well...actually he has a lot of CLEM in him. God help him. ;)

That is about all I did today. Fun Fun!!!

Not much going on here

Well...there really isn't much going on in my life. I finally got my utility room cleaned out and organized. That was a project I've been wanting to do for about a year now. I feel so clean!!! I'm starting on my closet now. Uggg....I'm getting rid of a bunch of clothes...and packing up my winter stuff. I hate to have winter clothes hanging in my closet...it makes me depressed.
I love it when I'm all caught up with clothes and house work.
It is very nice. I feel so good...it's like I can breath.

But...anywho...I have ants. I sprayed and put down Over and Out and sprayed...but I still feel like they are everywhere. Gives me the ebbie jebbies. Yuck.
I have this huge ant pile in my back yard...and everytime I look out side in my back yard..I see it. I want to go and just destroy them all...drowned them with water...but I can't bare to go near it. So...I've spread those granuels all over it. I hope this works. It's all because of this crazy bermuda grass and this humid weather we've had for the past month. All this water and humidity brings the ants out. Ugg....I hate ants.
My kids call me the "Cloud Breather". (If you've seen the movie Ant Bully you know what they are talking about)

Mother's day is this weekend and we have a dance receital for my daughter.
And then Morgan is off to stay with Na Na for a week. I'm sure going to miss that little toot. But, it will be nice to give Garrett some alone one on one time.

Grey's Anatomy

Okay, I'm so very disappointed. What is up with McDreamy?
And are they going to do a spin off of Grey's????
I was so excited that finally Allison an McDreamy were together and now...he
is going to pull away and screw everything up.
Can I just say...that this doesn't make for an interesting show.
It just pisses me off. And now they are trying to mess up Georges marriage.
I mean...Izzy is just going to dump George as soon as he dumps his wife. She is so freaking wishy washy. It always seems she wants something she can't have. Shame on you.
I'm mean...and then they kill off Allison's step mom and her dad hits her. Come on...give the girl a break.
Maybe things will change and McDreamy will come to Allison's rescue.
So...Question...when the interns are no longer interns does the show end?

I switched back to ER last night at 9:00. It was much better than Grey's.
Well...that is my rant for the day.

WOW My Aniversary

Today is my Aniversary well...our aniversary.
Kirtus and I have been married for 5 years.
5 years ago, we were in Galveston.

Today...well...I'm at home...with my two wonderful kids and my husband is in Afganistan. Some aniversary huh? Well...it's been like that for the past 5 years. We have never spent an aniversary together.

I know...it sucks...but we get through it.
I usually get flowers...but...I told him to save his money and take me to Maine when he gets back.
When we first started talking about getting married we were going to go to Maine...but things just didn't happen that way.
We still talk about it a lot...and I think that we are going to have some time next year...(If he is home during the summer when the kids are out of school)

Well...I guess I need a glass of wine. Happy Anniversary to me...Happy Anniversary to Kirtus.

Well, Grey's Anatomy and ER are...and I'm missing it.
